Thanks to all who attended the 2013 Civic Leadership Awards!

April 29, 2013

Last Wednesday night we honored those in the community who embody the spirit of service. We also raised the awareness of the critical need for charitable giving by Prince George’s County residents and businesses, by recognizing the vital role that the Community Foundation plays in stewarding these gifts.

The Civic Leadership Awards were established to recognize, honor, and promote outstanding leadership in Prince George’s County, and last week’s awards gala provided an opportunity to celebrate the invaluable contributions of honorees and the County’s nonprofit sector.

We were also graced with a performance from the Northwestern High School Choir, who is currently raising money to send their students to South Africa for a 10-day, five-concert tour throughout the country. Click here to give to the Friends of Northwestern High School Choirs to help them make their trip to South Africa possible.

We appreciate those who came out to join us, and we thank you for your support. It could not have happened without you!

This year The Community Foundation for Prince George’s County has had the pleasure of honoring the following individuals:
